I start by helping the client identify a target memory and then use various techniques to access and reprocess it, allowing them to gain new perspectives, heal emotional wounds, and integrate the memory more adaptively.   • DBT

    As a therapist using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), I help clients learn practical skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with distress. In our sessions, we work on four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I teach clients how to stay present in the moment, tolerate and navigate emotional pain without reacting impulsively, regulate and reduce overwhelming emotions, and improve communication and boundary-setting in relationships . I also provide support through validation, helping clients accept themselves while also encouraging change. Throughout the process, I emphasize the balance between acceptance and change to promote overall well-being.
